Bassi Wildlife Sanctuary

Spread over an area of about 50 sq km near the Bassi Fort Palace near village, Bassi Wildlife Sanctuary is located on the western boundary of the Vindhyachal range. In the sanctuary, animals like panther, antelope, wild boar, etc and various species of native and migratory birds can be seen.

This is located in a beautiful small village, spread within a fort area. This place is a meeting place of to rivers-Bemany and Chambal. That is the major reason behind developing this land as full variety of animal and birds. Mainly easily found creatures are Wild boar, jackal, panther, hyena, chinkara, deer fox and migratory birds.
