Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary
This is located near the bank of Jaisamand Lake, one of the largest artificial Lake in India. Jaisamand Wildlife Sanctuary covers over an area of 52 sq kms of dense forests land. The hyena, leopard, wild cat, fox and wolf are permanent species of the sanctuary. Other animal here includes Barah singha, chital, Sambar,Langur and Chinkara.
The Jaisamand Lake is the residence of group of crocodiles, turtles and a variety of fish. Different species of globally known water-birds can be seen easily. The Jaisamand Wildlife Sanctuary makes a close encounter with the rich wild life scenes at their natural environment. It was established in 1957 in area of 260 kms next the Jaisamand Lake. The natural home of panther, lazy bear, chinkara mongoose, chital, wild boar and various species of migratory birds. November and January are the best time to visit this wild heaven.
