Sariska Tiger Reserve is a renowned Wildlife Sanctuary situated among the Aravalli hills in the Alwar district of Rajasthan state. One of the most visited parks in India - Sariska National Park was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1958 and came under the "Project Tiger" as a tiger reserve in 1979. Tourists flock to the reserve in large numbers as the region is easily accessible from major cities like Delhi and Jaipur.
Sariska Tiger Reserve, Rajasthan occupies a total area of about 800 sq. km, with the core area being approximately 500 sq. km. The Northern Aravali Hills form an enchanting backdrop, featuring sharp cliffs and long valleys. The abundant occurrence of a wide variety of wildlife at Sariska Tiger Reserve, Rajasthan is an excellent example of ecological adoption and tolerance, for the climate here is variable and erratic.
Purjan Vihar (Company Garden): The beautiful garden was laid out during the reign of Maharaja Sheodan Singh. Built in1868, the most picturesque place locally known as Simla (the Summer House), was added to the lush greenery of this garden which does not give the blazing sun a chance to peep through. This is the most alluring part of the garden and the visitors can enjoy the beauty of the luxuriant vegetation by a promenade through the nice pathways set in here.
Children Park (Mooti Dungri) The children park is also known as Mooti Dungri . This is known as children garden B'coz there are lots of stuff for children like toy train.In this garden there is a fountain with colourful lightning. There is food court also in this garden with delecious food.so this is a good picnic spot for whole family.
Nehru Garden :This is the most famous garden of alwar b'coz of its location it is situated in the center of the city and it is the second largest garden in alwar.So it has lots of open space and lush green grass . In this garden you can find a huge fountain with beautiful lightining . And near this garden there is alwar's famous fast food center -Chopra Fast Food Centre here you can enjoy delecious food also.
